Riverside is een progressieve rockband uit Polen, bestaande uit Mariusz Duda (zang en basgitaar), Piotr Grudziński (gitaar), Piotr Kozieradzki (drums) en Michał Łapaj (keyboard). Vergelijkingsmateriaal genoeg: Anathema, Dream Theater, Marillion, Opeth, Pink Floyd, Pain of Salvation, A Perfect Circle en Porcupine Tree zijn wel namen die je met Riverside kan vergelijken.

De muziek van Riverside wordt wel omschreven als een mengeling van Anathema, Dream Theater, Marillion, Opeth, Pink Floyd, Pain of Salvation, A Perfect Circle en Porcupine Tree. Hun muziek is een mengeling van metal, symfonische en psychedelische rock muziek, en bevat langdurige, soms esoterische aandoende muziekstukken van keyboard en gitaar waarbij de bas altijd prominent aanwezig is, met daarnaast op zijn tijd heavy-metal riffs.

In 2008 is Duda met zijn soloalbum Lunatic Soul uitgekomen. In de zomer van 2009 is het nieuwe Riverside album Anno Domini High Definition uitgebracht.

In oktober 2010 verscheen er wederom een soloalbum van Mariusz Duda, Lunatic Soul II.

A Liquid Landscape is an alternative postrockband from The Netherlands with years of performing experience. The band have shared the stage with many bands like Karnivool (AUS), Anathema (UK) and Thrice (US) and played in major venues such as 013 and the Melkweg. Not to mention being a Dutch Grand Prize finalist in 2010. The band finished working on their debut album, Nightingale Express, mixed and mastered by Australian top producer Forrester Savell. Known from productions for Karnivool and Helmet. ‘Nightingale Express’ will be featured by a short movie from moviemaker Lex Vesseur, and will be released autumn/winter 2011. Both the music and film return in an interactive rock show with live VJ

Washed up, tired and staggering across a beach in the early hours of the morning. Somewhere in the twilight between desperation and surrender, there is still a glimmer of hope.
