'The Future of Blues' komt naar Nederland! De Britse bluesgitarist Laurence Jones is terug en klaar om Europa te veroveren met z’n nieuwe self titled album ‘Laurence Jones Band’. De blues rock troubadour Laurence Jones staat in november in de Q-Factory, Metropool én De Pul met drummer Phil Wilson, toetsenist Bennett Holland en gitarist Greg Smith. Echte bluesliefhebbers moeten eens in hun leven de nog jonge Laurence Jones live meegemaakt hebben. Met zijn sterke riffs, prima solo's en rauwe vocalen weet hij menig bluesliefhebber te overtuigen. Laurence is erg trots op zijn nieuwe plaat: “I’m really proud to bring you this new album, two years of hard work have gone into the planning and recording of it. I will let the music do the talking though and see you on the road at a show!”

Net als Laurence Jones' album ‘The Truth’ uit 2018, is het album opgenomen in Miami met producer Gregory Elias. Van de zes albums, waaraan Jones tot nu to eheeft meegewerkt zijn meer dan 50.000 exemplaren verkocht. Door de jaren heen stond hij al in de voorprogramma's van Status Quo, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, James Bay, Joe Bonamassa, Gary Clark Jr. en Jools Holland. Tevens stond hij op festivals als North Sea Jazz, Paaspop en Bospop.
